These are the TrueCash Terms of Use, word for word the same document the app shows on its Terms of Use screen. TrueCash is a budgeting and subscription-tracking app by MV Development Solutions LLC. Questions: mvdevelopmentsolutions@gmail.com.
These Terms of Use are a contract between you and MV Development Solutions LLC for the TrueCash app. By using this app and its services, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. Both documents live in the app and on our policy pages, where you can read them in full at any time: they describe how the app handles your money data, so they are worth reading before you enter any. If you do not agree, do not use TrueCash: delete the app, and your data goes with it, as the Privacy Policy explains.
TrueCash is a budgeting and money-tracking tool. It records what you enter, computes totals, budgets, pace projections, recurring-charge detection, and reports from that data, and presents the results back to you. Every figure in the app is computed from data stored on your device, and the app shows its work: detection shows the charges that support it, pace lines show how a projection was made, and totals name their inputs.
TrueCash is not a bank, a lender, a financial advisor, or a tax or legal advisor. Nothing in the app, including AI Insights and the Learn library, is financial advice or a recommendation. Figures can be wrong if the data you entered is wrong or incomplete. For decisions about your money, a qualified professional who knows your circumstances is the right stop.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use TrueCash. The app is for your own personal, non-commercial use.
Most of TrueCash needs no account: the data you enter belongs to you, stays on your device, and you grant us no rights in it. A free TrueCash account (email and password) is required only for features whose data lives on our servers, above all connecting a bank, so that the synced data belongs to an identity you control. The Privacy Policy describes exactly what an account stores, including the bank connection data in its Section 6.
An account signs in on one device at a time: signing in on a second device signs the first one out. You are responsible for keeping your password and your device secure, and for the accuracy of what you enter and import. If you share an export file, you are sharing your financial data; the app warns you at export time.
The App Lock (Face ID or passcode) guards the app on this device and is separate from your account sign-in: unlocking the app does not sign you in, and signing in does not unlock the app. You can sign out, delete your server-side data, or delete your account entirely at any time from the Account screen.
You agree not to use TrueCash to break the law, to infringe anyone’s rights, or to attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the app or to the AI Insights service beyond your own use of it. The app and its content (including the Learn library and cancellation guides) are our intellectual property; your data remains yours.
The Cancel Assistant gives step-by-step guides for cancelling subscriptions with their merchants. TrueCash does not cancel subscriptions for you, does not contact merchants on your behalf, and never charges a fee or a percentage for cancellation help or for any bill outcome. Any app that claims it can cancel a subscription for you without the merchant’s own process should be read carefully; our position is stated here so it can be quoted back to us.
After you mark a subscription cancelled, the app watches your own recorded transactions for a later charge from that merchant and tells you if one appears, with steps for disputing it. The watch reads only data on your device; if your records are incomplete, the watch can miss a charge, and a merchant’s confirmation remains the authoritative proof of cancellation.
Subscription detection analyses the transactions on your device and, if you connected a bank, the synced transactions and recurring payments read back from that connection, and reports patterns with their evidence and a confidence level. It can miss a subscription (for example, one charged rarely) and can flag a recurring payment that is not a subscription; that is why detections are shown for your confirmation and never silently acted on. Budget pace projections are arithmetic extrapolations of the current month, labeled as such. Net worth figures are sums of balances you entered, and net worth history begins on the day you start tracking; earlier history is not estimated or invented.
TrueCash offers a free tier and a paid tier, TrueCash Pro, sold as an auto-renewing subscription through Apple’s App Store at the prices shown on the paywall and in the App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel it in your Apple ID subscription settings before the renewal date. A free trial, if offered, converts to a paid subscription at the trial’s end unless cancelled the same way; the Account screen shows your plan, its status, and its next charge or expiry date as reported by the store, and the app can remind you before a trial ends or a renewal lands if you leave that setting on.
Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. Prices may change for future periods; if they do, Apple will notify you as its rules require. Features included in your tier do not move to a more expensive tier during a period you have already paid for.
The Learn library describes general money methods (budgeting systems, emergency funds, debt payoff order, retirement account types, index investing basics, credit score factors) for education. Methods are described as their sources present them; rules of thumb are labeled as such. They are not tailored to you and are not advice.
We may improve, change, or discontinue parts of TrueCash. Because the data you enter lives on your device, app changes cannot take it away; the export control in the Account screen is always available to you while you use the app. If a change alters what a server or an account holds, these terms and the Privacy Policy will be updated first, and the new versions will govern your use of the changed features.
TrueCash is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MV Development Solutions LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for decisions you make based on figures in the app, and our total liability for any claim arising from the app is limited to the amount you paid for TrueCash Pro in the twelve months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
If these terms change, the new version is published in the app with a new version number and effective date, and continuing to use TrueCash after it takes effect means you accept it. If you do not accept the new version, stop using the app and delete it: your data stays on your device and remains exportable from the Account screen until you do, and you can contact us if you need help exporting first.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA. Questions about these terms or the Privacy Policy: use the feedback form on the Account screen of the app.
